ISLAMABAD: Hearing of missing prisoners of Adiala jail has been adjourned till March 01, Geo News reported.

Three-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, heard the case.

Authorities concerned have brought missing prisoners to the Supreme Court for hearing on Monday morning.

On Friday, the Supreme Court had directed the director generals of the ISI and MI and Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ensure the production of remaining seven missing prisoners before the court by February 13 “at any cost”.

The court also issued a notice to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regarding the detention of prisoners in Parachinar.
