Default Your Favorite BBC News Story
Here are some of mine
On the April 30 edition of "BBC World," Justin Webb reported on rising fuel costs and how the increase in prices affect the American public. According to Mr. Webb, many Americans drive cars nearly the size of big rigs http://newsbusters.org/blogs/kristin...ize-big-rig-s-

And this one is also a great story.

Two people have been killed and at least four others injured in a crane collapse at a high-rise construction site in Miami, Florida.
The crane fell on top of an unoccupied home used as an office at the site of the 50-storey tower on Biscayne Bay.
Correspondents say the construction industry in the US state is unregulated and there is no licensing system. And this one is also quite instructive.

Why are shootings at educational institutions so common in the US?

This depends on who you ask. For those opposed to the country's liberal gun laws the key problem is easy access to highly powered weapons. They say the school shootings merely throw into sharp relief what is happening across a country where 30,000 people die of gun wounds every year. Others contend that these killings take place within a deep culture of violence, which they say is promoted in the US through music, film and video games.

But they have cool graphics and invoke a Pavlovian response when they have that ringing bell techno sound. And that is what really matters.
