I believe that there were armed people there. I am unsure, but from what i understand there was a group of insurgents preparing to conduct some operation, and the Reuters guys were doing a story on that.

The outrage i am seeing is misplaced. The point where i disagree with the actions is where the van gets shot. Up until that point it was the ugly act of war, unfortunately.

i would still rather it not happen.
