Opium wasn't made illegal until 1914 before then it was perfectly legitimate. And I hold libertarian views that such ventures should STILL be legal.

The only thing I said about Johns Hopkins was that the Russell family did not found it. I could not find any reference to the Russell's providing any funds towards JHU. I never said that I had not heard of the Russell family or their ties to Skull and Bones. The 3/22 line is pure crap as is all numerology. A good class in statistics will show that it is mere coincidence.
And a good study of estoteric religions will show what numbers are important in their occult beliefs, and why.

Take awhile, dig into what Rosicrucianism is and its history. I would recommend reading Manly Halls book Secret Teachings Of All Ages (for free on Scribd).

Numerology as a "science" is bunk. You are right. However, numerology as a way to encode information is not only real, it is done by just about everyone. Ancient Hebrew has a numerical system that is interchangable with their written language.

At the end of the day, if the number "322" was meaningless, then why would this organization include it in their name? This isn't just some beer drinking frat. This organization has taken part in grooming half the leaders from the US since WWII. What is the reasoning behind it?
