So-called "aliens" may be time-travelers from our future.

I've always heard that humans are evolving with larger brains. Well, these "aliens" are human-like in form, with oversized craniums and undersized bodies. Evolution is stressing the mental and lessening emphasis on the physical, as humans no longer are required to hunt to survive. We aren't slaying mammoths, moving boulders, or crossing glaciers to survive. Evermore, we THINK to survive.

Aliens who time travel are able to just pop in and pop out - no cross-galaxy excursions necessary. But why are they doing it? I think it's for their amusement, really. They no longer plunk down $8 for a movie; no, they plunk down their hard-earned $$$ to board time machines (flying saucers n' such) to watch their idiot ancestors. Can't say I blame'em, as I'm sure we are quite amusing.

Those who pay a premium get to probe and prod an actual ancestor specimen. They probably get a big hoot out of it! Why else would they be jamming things into our orifices? Heck, chances are they no longer have any orifices of their own, as all that kinda stuff (sh*t & sex, etc.) is no longer necessary to future humans.

I disagree, for two reasons.

1. Time travel is almost certainly way more difficult that space travel. We could probably build a spacecraft that could cross the galaxy with current technology. It would just take a really, really, really, long time. Whereas with time travel we only a few ideas that might work and all of them require energy on scale that is impossible.

2. Human evolution does not seem to favor high intelligence anymore. It is a commonly observed phenomena that people of high intelligence have a much lower rate of reproduction that people of low intelligence. If anything, I think the movie Idiocracy is probably one of the best predictions of our evolutionary future.
