Well Asus makes about 20 laptops under that name. With a wide variety of specs. Anything for duo core pentiums with 15 inch screens to quad core i7 units with 19 in screens. Desktop replacment style units. Most laptop drives are either 5400 RPM but a few are 7200 RPM and they produce a lot more heat. Not all laptops can take them. Do you know the model number of the ASUS or of the Hard Disk in it? Your SMART drive program should tell you the drive info.
