If Weiner was hacked he will report it to the authorities. It is a Federal Crime (impersonating a Federal Official among other things) and the FBI will catch and prosecute the hacker.

If he reports it and fully cooperates with the authorities in finding the hacker I will believe him, because of the penalties of making false claims to the FBI. Otherwise..........
