The exasperation falls into two camps:
1) There's a level of behavioral standards that comes with the office as well as with being in a committed relationship.
2) If you can't get a handle on #1 for the moment, at least be smart enough not to use your official email/Twitter account/phone while getting your personal demons under control.

The problem with treating people like rock stars is that eventually, they'll begin to believe it and actually start acting like rock stars.
