It's a no win situation, it's wrong to sit back and watch the people of Libya get slaughtered but we can not be everyone's keeper either, so allowing France and Briton to take the lead was smart in my opinion, i just hope that US really does get out of Libya soon as stated here - http://articles.economictimes.indiat...-military-role

US Defence Secretary Robert Gates today said that his country expects to hand over the leadership of the military operations against Libyan regime to a coalition likely to be headed by either the French, the British or NATO "in a matter of days". No matter what Obama decides he will be grilled for it, but I personally am glad he did not move too quickly.

OH and when I wrote "The President of the United States handled this mine field perfectly, don't you agree? " it was partly tongue in cheek trying to bait a certain someone to comment.
