A couple of noteworthy moves in the gender and racial makeup of things. Nikki Haley (R) becomes the first Indian-American woman governor of SC, and Susana Martinez (R) is now the first Mexican-American governor of New Mexico.

Nice to see the GOP mixing things up there.

On the other hand, the election tonight has now removed every African-American member of the Senate.
