Bigoted, huh? I'm still trying to figure that out.

FYI, My Bishop and other Elders in the church told me when I lost my job, if I needed to to go to the State and get on Medicaid for myself and my son and/or food stamps. I chose not to do either, because I haven't needed those in 15 years, why start now? And I only went to the Bishop's Storehouse after my Relief Society President urged me to, and after several urgings from my Bishop.

We're taught to help others in any way we can. I'm not sure where the "stealing the wealth" of others comes in. Taxes are taxes and they're a part of life and they get distributed as the government feels necessary. Everyone in my Ward in church are all very patriotic, including myself. If you have a problem with paying taxes that help others, I feel sorry for you. I don't believe that anything I've said in any of this thread has been either bigoted or prejudiced. But thank you for putting words in my mouth.
