Thanks for the laugh, Regis. That was actually a good one. What has actually been happening is that Tea Partiers are taking votes away from more moderate Republicans who would actually have a chance at winning. They really don't stand a chance of winning in any but the most extreme conservative states--their own campaigns have all but guaranteed it.

I suppose the one good thing that has come out of the Tea Party movement is its ability to take down the Republican party for good.
