Yes, Reaganomics was the term used to describe his economic policies during his term. It was the catch phrase for "trickle-down" economics, which was itself a catch phrase for "supply-side."

As for your mother insisting that you use the proper address when describing Bush 43, maybe she just needed to be reminded that he actually WAS elected twice and actually WAS the leader of the free world.

I know I still have trouble believing it!
Elected once, ruled in favor of once. lol Same here...
