Despite what all the yammering, talking head pundits are saying, I think it's too early to say what these few elections will mean for November. Plenty of time between now and then for all kinds of stumbles, bumbles, good and bad news. When this oil spill starts hitting wallets, voters will want to blame someone, and they'll do it at the polls. The economy will play a huge role in determining who votes for who come Fall. Immigration will be a red hot election issue. Of course, there will be more rentboy/spouse-cheating/kickback scandals come to light. Lots of juicy stuff to fuel the talk radio engines.

Then there's the anti-incumbent "movement," which frankly, I don't get. Ask these folks who they'll be voting for when they vote the incumbent out, and they don't seem to care. Vote the incumbent out -- as if some Joe Average, guy-next-store messiah will suddenly rise up and do what's right in Washington. Delusional, at best.
