we found it virtually impossible to keep our plants ok if they are in pots when we used house as holiday home.

we has an auto water system but they either still got too much water or not enough.

if you can plant them properly in ground with auto system this maybe better.

or go for large pots, keep the pots out of the sun or the roots will fry.
