Which makes me laugh cause if she is disabled how is she working in another job doing the same work (or close to it from what i gathered from the CNN news report i read):?
Many disabled veterans work jobs similar to their military duty.

Many members even are retained on active duty for conditions they will receive disability for once discharged.

Also does not Feres prevent this type of lawsuit? No. I'm not an expert on Feres Doctrine, but my understanding is that is prevents servicemembers for suing for damages for injuries they got while on active duty. i.e. she could not sue for damages due to her carpal tunnel...She is suing for benefits. Different.
