He's an idiot. If there was some kind of Palpatine/Galactic Empire/1984 Fascist takeover in the USA - the military would be the ones breaking down doors and confiscating weapons. Hell, the Generals would make speeches about how we're "serving our country" by "fighting the terrorists". And frankly, I think people like Breitbart would be cheering every step of the way.

Some military would be defending the peope from the gov.

As far as home defense, you bet. A pump action pistol grip is perfect. It does 2 things. It gives you a small enough barrel to move around your house, and the pump action lets the criminal know there is a shotgun coming his way and its now loaded. Everybody knows the sound of a shotgun chambering a shell!!
