There are pros and cons to a free society, and this is one of the cons. Japan has a much lower crime rate than us, and a 99% conviction rate. But such a system would not be compatible with the Consitution and our concept of "innocent until proven guilty". If we want fair trials, we've just got to accept the harsh reality that sometimes the guilty will get away unpunished too. What's f'ed up about our legal system that winning a court case depends not on whether or not you're actually guilty/innocent, but how much money you have. Take the Dukes "rape" trial for example. Yes, trumped up charges. But if those guys were blue collar, they would have been convicted. The only reason they missed the bullet of political correctness is because they had rich parents who could hire an expensive legal team, and fight a prolonged courtroom battle. Usually, the little guy just as to plead guilty and take whatever "justice" get's dished out to him. For a psycho, she's pretty damn hot. I wouldn't mind rubbing one out to her.
