Experiencing issues viewing due to security protocols, anyone care to paraphrase the "knuckleheadedness" involved here?

In the interview, the First Lady said (paraphrased) that if you have someone sitting around the house who doesn't want to get out and vote, you need to tell that "knucklehead" to get off their butt and do it. As I said, don't like Obama, but anyone complaining about this statement is being ridiculous.
