I must admit that I'm pretty appalled at what I'm seeing expressed here, and many other places on this forum - hatred toward people on public assistance. As if they have power over you. Do people on public assistance write bills, or have the power to veto them or sign them into law? If not, do they have the power to override the person who does? Do they have the power to make the call on whether or not a particular law is constitional?

Are they the top dogs in corporatate America - the ones that have the power to hire and fire you? Do they have the money and resources to influence the desicions that will be made by those in power, the same way large corporations might?

No? Then why all the hate toward people who have zero power over you, and are of a lower socio-economic status than you are?

For far too many of you, your hate and anger is misdirected.
