Typically, what I'm seeing in this hatred of people on public assistance is that many people who vote Republican... actually stand to lose by voting Republican, and would stand to gain by voting Democrat. However, they vote against their own economic best interest, because it's a price that they're willing to pay in order to spite those on public assistance.

The powers that be have misdirected our anger, so that we don't see who the real enemy is.
So everyone should just vote for whoever gives them the most stuff? Sounds good. I'll stick around and wait until a candidate promises me a Ferrari because I'd look super sexy in a bright yellow Ferrari. After all, it's not about the health of my country or the quality of our national future...it's about getting someone that will play Robin Hood and take from others to give to me. If we're lucky that candidate will put the Michigan lottery winner on the tickey for VP because clearly she gets it. That brings up another thing doesn't it...we need an oligarchy of people that run for office with aspirations to "move up". SIlly Cheney didn't get it even though he held dozens of executive branch positions before he was VP. We need lifetime politicians climbing from one office to another career style promising us stuff. Where's my Ferrari?
