i feel the AFPT should be for the pencilers. AFSC with special needs and strength such as fire should have there own pt tests. In order to progress in the fire academy you need to pass an assessment known as the firefighters combat challenge course in 8 mins or less. You have to pull hose climb ladders carry dummies and so forth. I much rather do that its more fun but crustys right beating a dead horse in this dept.
