This sounds like an urban legend.

I agree...I can still purchase to see all three of my FICO scores through Experian to this date. I pay 5 bucks a month through USAA to monitor my credit report and see my Experian credit score and can refresh it as many times as I like during the month.

I think this is a business profit ploy by the company telling them to passit along. At 24 bucks a whack...and mass panic by those who believe the BS....it can be very profitable for them.
