Hang on, you don't think the government monitors its own people?

I was being sarcastic. Warrant-less wire tapping, the recent Goldman Sachs decision, etc. Absolutely 0 faith in the government anymore. Time and time again they've failed us.

The question really is, so f-ing what? Because America was founded on certain principles, and we'd like to think that our nation can rise above such things. Realistically it'll never happen, ever, because that's just human nature.
