Cheers guys, I don't think I will sleep for a week!

No having a go I'm afraid but passenger rides no faster than the local speed limits could be arranged

I think they are an awesome car. And very fast on a track. And I wouldn't turn one away if someone offered me the keys to one. In fact, someone did offer me the keys. I found the car to be somewhat boring on a track seeing as how much the computer does. Its exceedingly fast and handles very well, but the experience was lacking in raw emotion.

Still, you don't live every day on Road America or a track and as a Daily Driver Supercar its amazing at it.

Congrats on the purchase.

--- Post Update ---

Can only do 200mph on a track. Otherwise its 110mph limited via GPS location.

Remember Launch Control voids your warranty too. Or at least it did, may not anymore.
I have not been on a track but on the road you are right its like a mini Veyron and I couldn't get the traction control to blink with it in R mode so I guess you have to push it pretty hard or drive in the wet before the computers kick in to save you.

As for the GPS limit that is only in Japan so no problem there!
Launch Control on the new cars is part of the experience. You can do 4 or 5 in a row before the car asks you to stop and drive a few miles to let everything cool down. This does not void the warranty is is covered in great detail in the manual.

Check this video:

I don't know which year you had a go in but the new 2012 (2013 in the USA) is much improved all round over the first models.

Sure its not a lightweight track car but if that was what I wanted I wouldn't have bought a GTR
