Ever since we started track riding, we've barely ridden on public roads together anymore... So yeah, on public roads, motorcycles carry inherent risk, but on a circuit it's all the fun of pushing to the limit, without any of the risks that come with public roads. Such a different world...

Even on a track you can still throw a chain, blow a tire, run over a large rodent that appears out of nowhere, etc. The only substantial risk that's fully removed is encounters with automobiles.

Which reminds me—I need to check the tension on my chain. /instant paranoia/
