It's all about balance. Left up to their own accord, most people have zero ability to ascertain their own tolerance levels for alcohol, and simply drink until they either vomit or pass out. I think most of this has to do with the "weekend warrior" scenario, since many are too wound up due to the horrid 9-5 workweek schedule so many people endure. I, for one, will never give up alcohol.
