I actually eat healthier when i havent had a drink for a while and im willing to prepare good meals and i dont snack at all.

I dont think anyone should eat common snack foods invented by food companys, to sell more shitty food stuffs we shouldnt eat and never used to, but like idiots we think its normal.
Alcohol makes your blood glucose drop, which makes you hungry after drinking. Most people gain weight off of the shitty food they shove down their gullet after a night of boozing, not actually the alcohol itself. Again, self control is key.
