I just now started watching the new BSG for the first time. I'm almost done with Season 2.
Yeah, Season 2 is where it really started getting good. Blood on the Scales is one of my favorite episodes ever, but you wont' get there till Season 4.
Its a frakking awesome show. I own it on BR, even got a little 2nd gen Cylon Centurion with it.
The music is epic if you are watching it in 5.1. Bear McCreary did some awesome tunes.
Here's the Bear McCreary version of All Along the Watchtower.
I will probably start watching it again once I finish Lost. I never caught it until like Season 2 or 3 when it was on TV, and since I didn't want to get "Lost" while watching it I waited until the show finished. Now i'm watching it all through.
And if want to punish your sub-woofer I suggest turning it up to reference volume and playing "Storming New Caprica" or "Prelude to War" I bought these on CD and they are one of the few CD's I refuse to rip to MP3. I have them in Lossless format in my library.
