Not a great analogy.

There are rumors about underwater oil reserve close to Las Malvinas shore.

It wasn't supposed to be an analogy, it was supposed to be a demonstration of absurdity.

The Islands have never belonged to 'Argentina', and if their claim is based on proximity, there are countless examples around the world.

Some of your answers in blue are equally absurd... so you're either playing along, or..?
