That's the problem with the rules often being so ambiguous and open to interpretation.

They don't agree with Red Bulls interpretation of the rule yet admit they haven't broken the rule as it's written.
Yeah but that's the good thing about F1. All teams try to do exactly the same thing with the rules and to find loopholes. I'd predict there will be a rule change for the next race. This is a new rule after all.
