Yeah, that's why the reputation stuck. A lot of designers nowadays prefer windows machines because they can be configured faster and much cheaper than the apple counterparts. My brother is doing a digital art degree which includes art, design and 3D. Every idiot in the class is rushing out to buy macs because some equally idiotic lecturer is claiming that they are significantly better to use Photoshop with and to design on. I like macs and appreciate them but these idiots think they are instantly going to become superb graphic designers just cos they just plonked 2000 euros on a macbook.
