Of course the guy was a nut.

It's ridiculous to even suggest that even the most powerful strain of marijuana is going to make you eat a strangers' face off.

Hell, meth won't make you do that.

Classifying someone as a "nut" is a complete over simplification. This needs to be investigated further, as it is extremely chilling that a human being could engage in behavior such as this without any (known) drug influence.
