Don't really believe in personal top lists and that bullshit but I'll gladly entertain your question.

I'll list 5 favourite films that I feel that are really up there but in no order.

Sergio Leone's The Good the Bad and the Ugly

Ridley Scott's Blade Runner

Federico Fellini's 8 1/2

Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window

Julio Medem's Los amantes del círculo polar

I just went through the films that I have seen and chose 5 random exceptional ones which share their place in my heart along with a probably another hundred masterpieces.
