Sony's TV division has been going downhill for a bit now, but particularly after they left their joint venture with Samsung for panels.

Their TVs aren't bad but you can definitely get better and more reasonably priced TVs from Samsung or Panasonic nowadays.

Yeh but it seems a good price for the Sony here and seems to be one of their TV's that is not crap. The closest I can find from Samsung is this - there does not seem to be a review of it anywhere that I can see, only some people complaining it does not have wifi built in and does not have iPlayer (seems it does have iPlayer now).

I recently obtained the LG 42LM620T and I highly recommend it, however I do not think its what DM is looking for price wise.

This is probably more suitable. But again not really any reviews other than user reviews
