Why? Because they are bad.

If you aren't paying attention to it, then why watch it? Movies are meant to engage the watcher, not distract you for a few minutes while you twiddle your thumbs. That pretty much just helps to exemplify how bad they are.

Owning all four so far, I go back and watch them all pretty regularly. I think they are great "time wasters" (And good entertainment on BD), if you will.

True, they aren't Shawshank Redemption, but they have their own place/niche group. Right?
