There's loads of interesting things to do there Bungle. I lived there for 4 years at uni and there's a lot to see and do (apart from the obvious of getting ratted for days on end).

There's loads of architecture to see, from the city walls to the Sage Gateshead. There are things to see in the suburbs too and it's not a massive journey to get up to Hadrian's wall.
