lol newcastle rough? i live in the west end and its aparently one of the rough areas of newcastle and ive never had any trouble, ive lived here for probably 12 years now.

where i was born and grew up in nottingham was atleast 20x worse than newcastle is.

you get a lot of rough looking types but they never give me any hassle and i dont see gangs of kids hanging out on street corners.

its nearly all uni students up here

If you grew up in Nottingham then nowhere is going to look rough.

Newcastle isn't rough per se, but you get a lot of stag parties that are up for a bit of a ruck at the end of the night.
