Don't get irritated, Bungle, you're not at home. Things, people, culture are different. That's why you went away in the first place, wasn't it? Don't expect to find the Tate in Newcastle... because you are in Newcastle. Open your mind a bit!

So if I walk into an art gallery I shouldn't expect to see lots of art?

And the Tate Modern is disappointing compared to MoMA, Centre Pompidou, Guggenheim Bilbao, New York and Venice. Just to put it in perspective.
