If you mean NG tube (nasogastric tube...up through the nose and into your stomach) then I feel for you. I've had that, and that was an absolutely horrible experience. Mine started to feel better the day after they put it in, but after they did another CT scan that morning, had to re-adjust and push it in a few inches...started from square one. The surgeon had me on dilaudid after that surgery. Man, that stuff is crazy. A few seconds after they injected it into the IV line, I felt goooooood...for a few hours at least. Thinking about it, I'm actually kind of surprised they gave me dilaudid...My pain was actually worse after my laparoscopic appendectomy, where they gave me demerol and percocet. (This surgery was NOT laparoscopic...) Anyway, feel better man.
