Eh, maybe temporarily but at that point someone would get rich off of solar power. Did you know more energy from the sun hits the Earth in an hour versus the entire world oil supply? Sounds like BS, but it was from Michio Kaku.

Solar power's been around for years, but it's never been suitable for many serious applications. Nuclear fusion is the future IMO.
