Young girls are told by the media that guys love dumb slutty whores, as opposed to clever, classy, attractive, homely, loyal, and loving girls. Just look at all the "role models" these girls have in music and stuff. They assume that the more slutty and filthy you look the more attractive you are to men.

Wearing fake tan, and bleaching their hair and generally trying to look and act like a trashy porn star is what they have been taught to do by modern media. They are bombarded by this notion from birth pretty much atm. Just take a look at any female "artist" in a pop video. Also listen to the lyrics etc.. The whole duck mouth thing is probably them trying to look as slutty as possible, cos thats what they have been taught is the right thing to do.

Not every girl gets brainwashed like this, but at the end of the day it is hard for them to think anything different.
