I'm going to try and be kind here....that's complete rubbish.

I communicate just as much in the real-world as before social networking, and so does everyone else I know. The only difference now is that when I see people I can ask them about their new job, car, baby, house etc rather than wasting time with "hi, how are you, what's new..." etc. Knowledge is power.
You might, but females in their early twenties don't. Maybe it's a geographic thing, maybe it's an age thing, but far too many people live their life on facebook and twitter.
