Love it as a short film. Glad the facial expressions have come a long way from the demo below. It doesn't hurt that the voice actor does an excellent job. Could be a good short novel.

From what i was able to gather, the demo was run in real-time on the same engine (albiet highly upgraded) that produced Heavy Rain and the tech demo below 6 years ago. Considering the demo only showed off one character and 10 static copies I'm not terribly impressed, but if they maintain that fidelity during gameplay I may need to borrow a ps3.

Wait, just read another article and apparently it’s a new engine built completely from scratch off the techniques they learned from their endeavor with heavy rain.
The casting demo video was good as well. Can definitely see how far they've come with animation and facial movements. The mouth was particularly off in the older video.
