Sounds like it's working to me. You won't ever stop crime but keeping it off the streets is the best compromise.

ANPR cameras are here in the UK as well; have been for quite some time. If you have done nothing wrong, don't worry. But I'm sure if its use caught that paedo who skipped probation, you'd fistpump.
