I forget who said that our Constitution was only suitable for a moral people..

This is one of those moral issues that fits the statement perfectly..

An immoral people, either individuals who are immoral.. Or individuals organized into corporations that behave in an immoral way while profit seeking, are equally dangerous.

The problem lies with the people.

Kleinbok is unequivocally wrong. It is not the congress. It is not the corporations, either, for that matter. It is the people.

The vast majority of the citizens of this nation not only have no use for liberty, but they don't deserve it, and couldn't live free if they tried...
