If you were a Persian living in Iran would you want Israel to have a nuke. Oh wait, they already have a couple of hundred of them.

not quite the same. Israel is a tiny country surrounded by countries that want it eliminated. Israel has not declared that it wants Iran destroyed, but Iran and the muslim world have declared that it wants israel destroyed.

nuclear retaliation is the only thing preventing the arab/muslims from destroying israel today.
