It's going to have to be that way..

The money is spent..

It no longer exists.

It's coming from their grand kids pockets now.. and there's not as many of them... And they aren't living through a golden age. Boom times.

It will never happen, the SCOTUS would say that there is a contract between the govt and the people regarding SS and medicare. The answer is to make healthcare efficient and cost effective. Drug companies are making outrageous profits at our expense, 30% or more----and no one is bitching about it, while everyone bitches about the oil companies making 8%.

Just get the waste, fraud, and abuse out of the system and it would make a huge difference.

I had my knee scoped a few months ago. was in the hospital about 4 hours total. the bill was $27K. That is obscene.
