The Army doesn't close-up shop when the economy sours because the people deeply imbedded in it..

Taxing for the military is about the stupidest thing you can do.. Unless you are using a tank or a plane to provide security, it's worse than useless.. Much worse than a bridge or a road.

A total negative.

We need defense, obviously... But like the regulation scenario, just because we need a little doesn't mean we need a lot.
