Instead of insurance, I went with Pet Assure. I am extremely happy with them, I saved tons of money already. The way it works is that you go to one of the vets in their network, and get 25% off every single bill. There is no hassle at all.
I heard things about insurance companies when I was doing research that I didn't like (denials, pre-existing condition exclusions, waiting periods etc.), so I decided to give Pet Assure a try. I'm glad I did!
